I finished my work-term yesterday morning. It wasn't as "emotional" as last time because I will be returning in 2 weeks. The bosses and I discussed my evaluation prior to my departure at 12 noon (although most people didn't even show up for work on Friday) and another 'outstanding' eval was given. Schweet. 3 in a row. Hopefully, I can make it a clean sweep for the summer term.
Anyway, the fall holidays went by pretty quickly; although, I wish I had more time to go out and check out the sights of Ottawa, but alas, the weather doesn't do much justice when your holidays fall between September and December.
I went home on the 4:50pm train and boy...I have never seen such a long line-up. It was ridiculous. Then again, I've never had to leave on the 22nd of December before so it was a first. This train was an assigned seating train, so when I booked my tickets, I had requested a window seat. To my dismay, they cancelled that and I was stuck in an aisle seat because they just wanted everyone on the train. I think there were at least 10 passenger cars and 2 engine cars. It was crazy. We were delayed at the train station by almost 20 minutes because we had to wait for a train to come in from Toronto (who was delayed itself) since there is only one set of tracks running from Smiths Falls to Ottawa. Adding to all the stops and delays, I didn't arrive into Toronto till about 9:30pm, almost 40 minutes past the original scheduled time. Getting off the train always seem much more easier than getting on it. I guess everyone just wants to get off.
So yeah...I probably should relax for the 1 1/2 weeks I'm here and possibly try to psych myself up for "school mode". My Honours Seminar prof already e-mailed us telling us that the course pack is ready to be picked up and will cost us a lovely $120. WHAT?! FOR A BUNCH OF PHOTOCOPIED PAGES?! WHAT A RIP. Merry Christmas to you too Prof.
Oh...and can someone tell me how I can switch this account over to the new Google thing? Or will I have to create a whooooole new blog?

BTW: the $120 is most likely for copywrite and other fees, as well as the cost of paper/ink.
Also - the Prof doesn't set the price. Why would he/she?
