Yeah. That's directed to the Americans who keep calling my cell phone thinking it's a resort and convention center down in hickville. I'm not going to give out the name of the resort because that would give out my number and well, it's the internet and lots of things can happen when information like that is given out.
Anyway, I'm at church today and my phone keeps ringing (vibrating) off the hook. I thought it were my parents looking for me and asking me if I had Sunday School. But then I thought to myself, they can't be calling me at this time because they're in service! Then I realized it could be some stupid American calling the wrong number again. Lo and behold, 10 minutes later, another call comes and finally the caller leaves a message. Whatever. I'm not going to check it now. Then I'm sitting in Sunday School and it goes off again! I was so irritated (the chair keeps vibrating because I left it in my coat pocket) that I finally turned my phone off.
So I get home and check the message (in total, I think I got like 5 missed calls in a span of 15 minutes?). My mom thought it may be my friends in Ottawa looking for me (because they have some ESM dinner tonight or something). So I listen to the message and turns out to be some irritated redneck-accented dude pissed off at the REAL resort for billing him for something that he paid or something like that. I don't know. Didn't get the real jist of the message as I have difficulty listening to hick accents.
Anyhoo...what a waste of airtime minutes, both in Ottawa and Toronto. Next time they call me in Ottawa, I'm just going to say "today's weather is -15 degrees celcius with the windchill, it feels more like -40. Dress warmly! It's going to be a freezer out there!. Thank you for calling!". Then hopefully, they'll get the point. Frig. Better yet, I should just describe to them the scenary: "i do no see any pools or martini bars here. everyone's in parkas and bundled up with scarves and mits! wow, it'd be really courageous for someone to be walking in a bikini in this type of weather!"
Stupid Americans. The name and location of this particular resort is just ironic and well....if you find out from me the name of the resort, I'm pretty sure you'll understand....
