Please say it ain't so...

I was just listening to the radio (104.5 CHUM FM) and they said that there's a possible VIA Rail Strike!! AAAAHHHHHHH....I hope everything gets negotiated and accepted before I return! I really really really don't want to take the Greyhound. And I already paid for my tickets for VIA and I don't want to spend another $100 on Greyhound and I'm sure VIA, as stupid as they are (grrr to them for my travel credit), will not reimburse us. Because that would mean they would have to reimburse thousands and thousands of people's tickets.

And why do they choose this time of year? They are earning a tonne of business with lots of holiday travellers going to visit their family and friends PLUS the tonne of students that are travelling home and then returning to school.

I pray and cross my fingers that this gets resolved. Or else, I'll be a little screwed for returning to Ottawa..........
