Two weeks ago was the end-of-year dinner for Elijah Fellowship. Saturday, was the farewell dinner for Justin Chu and Justin Yuen, commonly referred within OCAC as J1 and J2 (haha kinda like B1 and B2 from Bananas in Pyjamas!). Anyway, it was a formal dinner, so I got as "dressy" as I could.
Anyway, the place was quite fancy. I would never walk into there if I didn't have a special dinner to go to anyway. So everyone slowly arrived and we all chatted about random stuff. I ordered the Smoked & Grilled Chicken with BBQ Sauce. It was really good. The meat was tender and the sauce was not spicy at all, although when it first arrived, it did smell really spicy. Here's a pic of my dinner:
My appetizer was a Market Fresh Soup. And it was really good. I could drink that soup anytime. It had kidney beans and chick peas in it or something like that. Mmmm. Too bad I didn't take a pic of that because I was really hungry and wanted to eat.
After the main course, came dessert. Mmm...but I was too full to even eat any of the dessert. However, I did have a craving for chocolate, so I had a piece of chocolate cake and a chocolate eclair. YUM. Take a look at the chocolate fondue and dessert table (with Leon being a pig):
After dessert and dinner was picture time. It was crazy. Group photos, girl's photo, guy's photo, random photos.
After going photo happy and given funny looks by hotel and casino guests, we went to the casino. Some people played a bit but I, along with most people watched Karl lose $5 on the horse game. LOL. The funny thing was that we kinda looked like the Chinese triad -- guys in black suits and girls dressed up all nicely and we walked around in a group. LOL. Yeah.....some gwai los gave us looks. One gave J2 a dirty look LOL. We were tired out so we didn't stay long and we all went home.
