So I think I'm being accustomed to the computers in the library. I found a new place (in the reference section) with new computers, where the monitors are LCDs and the keyboards are so much better than the ones you find in the lobby. It makes surfing the web easier.
Anyhoo...finished my work term report. Turns out to be 50 pages, but only 19 written. So the rest of it is all appendices of my work. A large chunk devoted to an instruction manual that I wrote for the office. Now it's off to the printers and to reprography to get it bounded! Woooot!!!! Another work term report done and over with (but another one due in 8 months....)
I can't wait for my computer to be fixed.
And I did my co-op placement option. I have chosen, like you all know already, that I will be returning to my previous employer, Department of National Defence. So I filled in all of the information. Now I'm pretty much set for September-December. Hahaha. Like Anna said, no matter what you do in your job, it's all in the name: "Hi. My name is Lydia and I work for the Department of National Defence!" So I'm already excited for that. LOL.
And I think I lost weight already, due to my daily walking/rollerblading routine. I could not fit into a pair of capris two weeks ago, but now, they fit and somewhat looser! HAHA....Go me. Who needs the gym when I walk or rollerblade everyday -- up and down hill too!
I can't wait for my computer to be fixed.

Kudos on the insane number of pages. I really don't know how you do it. 19 pages of written stuff. Wow, i only got like 14ish. Anyhow, as long as it gets done, we get our P and get on with our lives it's ok. As for Anna's comment. I totally agree with that to a certain extent. I heard a story at one of the end of workterm review workshop where everyone shares their experiences.. yeah.. someone worked at DND as photocopier. Not fun. I hope I didn't pass the word limit. Oy!

I actually lost 10 lbs in one semester because I was doing Judo 5 times a week and I was barely eating lol (not a really good idea). I was as low as 180 but I gained 10 lbs (hopefully muscle) while I was out in Ottawa :D.

hehehe we can only write max 8 pages! i guess i shouldltn complain too much about the reports.. -_-
I'm with Jen! Our work term reports were limited to 8-10 pages! Plus appendices...but really, when you work government in a financial setting, what appendices do you have?
