Prayer Request

I know I've never publically announced on my blog for a prayer request, but I just feel that this could be an opportune time to begin, and perhaps, continue to do this in the future, so that people who are not in Ottawa or who rarely gets the opportunity to talk to me (I don't know why you wouldn't want to talk to me, but whatever) can know what's going on in my life.

Anyway, I was talking to my friend last night and she told me that she discovered some lumps on her breasts back in March and finally got a biopsy appointment for next week to determine if the lumps are cancerous or not. That news really came to a shock as she's only 21 (turning 22 later this month) and she's pretty healthy, except for the surgeries on her knee from rugby, but that's another story. Anyway, please pray for her. I really hope the results come back negative because I don't want to see another friend suffer from breast cancer (my host mom in Quebec discovered she had breast cancer 2 months after I left. She eventually beat it) and go through the experiences of chemotherapy/radiotherapy and all those drugs.
