Summer School Rocks!

Well, it rocks because it boosted my CGPA :). I received my marks from the last two courses of the summer session. The prospects of doing well this summer didn't seem too attainable in the beginning, as I lacked interest in the courses I took. I had no choice but to take those courses, since I didn't want to go to Carleton. Anyhooo...I ended up liking those courses and learned something (I guess).

Spring Session

  • CRM2305 - Police in Modern Society: A
  • POL3102 - Modern Political Thought II: B+
  • POL3546 - Politique etrangere canadienne: B+
Summer Session
  • POL3115 - Development and Political Change: A-
  • POL3511 - Les organisations internationales universelles: A
If my math is correct, I earned a 8.0 CGPA for the session. Wow. I haven't done this well since first year. Ever since then, my CGPA has been dropping by a point each term. GO ME! Let's hope I can keep this up for the winter term. I also had to work extra hard this summer because everything is compressed and my profs didn't let us get off easy either. Same work load as the fall and winter sessions.

Ok...enough about school. No need to talk about it anymore for 4 months.

------

I went shopping for some "back to school" stuff that I needed and every sales associate thought that I was going into first year! ARGH. I kindly tell them that I'm in 4th year and they look at me like I'm crazy. At The Bay yesterday, the sales lady thought I was 16! Um....no. Even with my braces off, I still don't look any older.
