Co-op Interview #2

Before I dive into co-op interview #2, here's an update on co-op interview #1:

Hello Lydia

After a long and difficult review of yesterday's
interviews I have the regret to inform you that
we did not kept your candidacy for the position
of Assistant Program Leader. You gave an exceptional
presentation but one of the candidate's
profiles answered better the requirements for
the post. Also,I will not lie to you, this job was
not offering too much of an opportunity for you to
increase your knowledge of politics.

Good luck in your co-op procedure. I have no doubt
that you will find a better position for someone as
talented and competent as you are.

So I didn't get the job. Buggers. But at least I got to the interview rounds. 3 out of 100 is really good.

Anyway, today I had an interview with Infrastructure Canada for the position of a Communications Assistant. Basically, sit in an office and collect daily news clippings, prepare press releases, etc. The interview lasted about 15 minutes. I don't think I did too well. The questions were too general and very bland, unlike yesterday's. I had a total of 5 questions to answer and they didn't really give me the opportunity to expand on anything. I felt more rushed than ever. Oh well. I don't want to work from 7am to 3pm anyways.

I still haven't heard back from most of my jobs (grrr). I have another interview this coming Friday for a Junior Policy Analyst position with Treasury Board Secretariat.
