Mission Accomplished

For the past 2 weeks, I've been constantly checking my Grade Report to see if my marks have been posted and they have been slowly trickling in. Finally, my last mark came out today. If you refer back to this post, you will see what my academic expectations were for this semester.

I correctly predicted it would be a tough semester. It would be tough because of my Honours Seminar, and 2 other 4th year courses. Adding to that, I was also working part-time at DND. The great thing about working at DND was that my bosses were very flexible and allowed me to take a day off if I needed it catch up on work. But since I also wanted more money, I wanted to work, so I made sure I was very very studious when I came home, as well as on the weekends. Although I had some severe procrastination issues, especially towards the end of the semester, I managed to pull through. I think in total, I only took 5 days off, which amounted to a significant amount of money lost, but I believe it was for the better.

Academically, it's been the best semester since 1st semester of 1st year. I am quite surprised at how well I did. Maybe having a part-time job is good for me? Hahaha, because it makes me more studious!

  • Honours Seminar in Canadian Politics: B+ (met expectation)
  • Contemporary Canada: A- (expectation failed...but I'll settle for it anyway)
  • Le Parlementarisme au Canada: A (exceeded expectation)
  • Perfectionnement de l'expression orale en francais langue seconde II: A+ (exceeded expectation)
  • Canadian Federalism: A- (exceeded expectation)
If my math is correct, my CGPA this semester will come out to a 8.4. Very proud of myself!

Now, I must conquer the fall semester, which will be my last semester of university (perhaps even school!)
