I just realized that I have not blogged since school started! But seriously, there's really nothing much to say about school, other than I'm really looking forward to graduating. I know everyone says that when you begin working, you rather be in school. However, I feel that I am ready to start working full-time. I've become really jaded with school lately for three main reasons.
Firstly, I think it's due to the fact that I'm not really working towards an academic goal (i.e. maintaining a good CGPA for co-op positions) but rather just doing the daily grind to graduate. Secondly, since most of my peers have already graduated back in April, I do not know a single soul in 3 of my classes, which makes me very depressed at times, as I see many people interacting with each other while I sit all by myself. Lastly, I was reminded by a friend that I am 5-6 years older than the froshies. That's a big gap, and I can definitely see the differences in the maturity level of some froshies. I am ready to move away from the high school-type chats and group rats that hang on the streets of campus doing nothing but chat about how drunk they were on the weekend and how hot/good-looking that boy/girl is. I don't know how the masters students do it....don't get they sick of the antics? Maybe it's because I live on campus so I am surrounded by them 24/7. Maybe it's because I enjoy working with adults and having intellectual and mature conversations. Whatever it is, I am ready to leave.
Begin the countdown to graduation! T-minus less than 3 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and continuing on my tradition of setting course grade goals:
