The Gathering

On Saturday night, I was at the Corel Centre (gasp!) for The Gathering, a city-wide praise and worship night with my fellowship from OCAC. It was my first city-wide experience in Ottawa and it was pretty cool because we sang some songs in French and English. Pretty awesome. About 2,300 people attended and it was an awesome experience. I can't wait to attend the next Gathering in 2006!

Afterwards, 8 of us went to Denny's to eat. Since I couldn't order just a side of pancakes, I had to order an entire meal so I went for 'The Original Grand Slam', which consisted of 2 pancakes, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, and 2 eggs. I told Mildred and Stephanie that I would just eat the pancakes and take the rest home (since it was 10pm by the time we got our food). But alas, when the food came, I started with the sausage then worked my way to the eggs and well, you guessed it, I finished the entire meal! haha. And I wasn't even the last one to finish my meal! teehee.
