After 12 weeks of classes, readings, essays, presentations, assignments, and spending countless hours wishing I was outside rather than inside, I have conquered summer school. It wasn't that bad, but there were days when I wished I didn't have schoolwork to complete. I actually enjoyed the quiet and deserted campus, especially the library, where all of the books that I needed for my assignments were available and ample room to move around. It did feel weird to be walking in empty hallways when during the school year, it would be abuzz with students and things going on in the unicentre agora.
Anyway, the exam period wasn't stressful at all. Not one bit. Maybe because I managed my time wisely. But after handing in my exam yesterday, my mood was no differ than the day before. I was as relaxed as ever (more sleepy though) and I felt...normal. I think if I had to put my stress level on scale of 0 to 10, 10 being the highest, I'd classify it as 1.5. Hahaha. Least stressful exam period ever. I don't think I'll ever have another "almost-stress-free" exam period again, considering my next two study terms will be during the school year. Hehehe.
Anyway, after handing in my exam, I went to CWO Watson's workplace to pick up my movie magazines (forgot to pick them up after POTC2) and Barnyard colouring sheet. She comes out of her office and has this cardboard tube with her. OoooOoooo poster! Hahahaha. Although her theatre wasn't showing Barnyard, they still had posters, so she surprised me with two! Hahaha. I think the cow is cute. Hehehe. Thanks Brie!
In the evening, Dom, Danny, Leon, JC (after much convincing) and I headed out to watch The Casino du Lac-Leamy Sound of Light fireworks show. Instead of paying $12, we watched the fireworks from the former site of the Canada and the World Pavillion on Sussex Drive. good thing we arrived early (9pm) because there were lots of people. Hehehe. It didn't start till 9:30pm and it was pretty chilly down by the river. Anyway, I took a couple of pics, but they didn't turn out out so I'm just going to wait for Leon's pics. They were pretty cool fireworks. I really liked the ending though, but I guess it's normal to end the show with a bang. Hehehe.
Today, I began packing. I've packed all of my books, DVDs, and stationary things. Tomorrow, after another load of laundry, my clothes will be packed away. Woooot. Can't wait to return to TO.
Anyway, this is my 101st post on Blogger. Hahaha. Maybe I should of mentioned that it was my centenary post in my previous post. Thanks to everyone who's been reading since its inception, especially those who crossed over from LJ.
