Packed and Ready to Go

Blogging at the Ip's house and watching Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Hehehe. Seen it multiple times already.

Anyway, I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon for a three week conditioning stint in Toronto. After my horrible play a couple of weeks ago, sponsor and coach decided that I needed a little bit of conditioning. Hahaha. I'm excited...Ontario Place, Chinese Lantern Festival, CNE, food...3 weeks is not enough. Oh well....let the holidays begin!

I spent the past two days packing and cleaning my room so that when my friend returns to her place, it's not a mess. Managed to fit everything in boxes and the number of limited bags I had. Usually, my parents would bring up extra bags/boxes, but since they're not coming up to pick me up, I had to do with what I had.

Well, last night, the Pirates Party that was organized didn't really happen. Hehehe. It was a little too late to start the movie, so people just sat around talking, playing XBox (moi) or poker. Left around 12:30am-ish.

Today was ACES Beach Volleyball and Student Ministry Beach Volleyball at the exact same location -- Britannia Park. Hahaha. The latter was supposed to be at Petrie Island, but the water quality was bad so it got switched. So essentially, some people were there from 9:30am. Hahaha. I arrived at around 2:30pm. Didn't end up staying too long because the blowing sand was bothering my eyes. Hitched a ride with Leon and went to his house to play XBox. Hehehe. Then ate dinner at his place with JC, Cheryl, Andrea, and Fiona. Fiona and Andrea made BBQ Beef Fajitas. Pretty good! Now, there are brownies baking in the oven. mmmMMMMMmmmMMmmm.

Just a note to end off the last summer post in Ottawa: I do not trust the OC Transpo Trip Planner anymore. Before heading out to Britannia Park, I looked up the location and out it in the Trip Planner. It said to take 97 Bayshore. And so I did. It told me to take it until Carling and Pinecrest. So I followed the instructions. Then I asked the bus driver to let me off at Carling and Pinecrest and said I was looking for Britannia Park. He then told me that I should of taken the 18 bus, because it would take me right to the entrance, instead of having to walk down the road (with no sidewalks either!). Argh....trip planner fails me again.
