I had my first written test for this term's placement process this afternoon for a position with Canada Revenue Agency, and by far, it was the easiest one I've ever done in my placement process experience. I was given 30 minutes to write a letter in response to a letter sent in by a person complaining about how his camera flash wasn't working after it had been repaired by a store technician. So he wrote a letter to the consumer complaints division and asked for a reimbursement.
Well, I've had some experience writing response letters, especially during my time working in a Member of Parliament's office, so the style and ideas came to me quickly. Let's just hope the marker liked my letter. The interview happens Friday morning.
